Swim Low (2016)

After the death of her mother, Alison finds comfort in her love for swimming. She soon discovers that when she holds her breath for long periods of time under water, she can visit the afterlife. Faced with the choice between two worlds, Alison must decide where she belongs.

In order to reach the dead, one must be close to death. This take on mourning and wanting to be near a loved one is challenged in Swim Low by another idea: Love takes many shapes in life and death. This harrowing drama dares you to live for the ones you love.
